A hydrothermal method via surfactant template was used to prepare NiOOH nanosheets. Physical bath deposition strategy was used to assemble nanosheets on EPGC electrode. NiOOH/EPGC exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activities toward glucose and methanol. Good analytical performance is obtained for detection of glucose and methanol.
