NIR, colloidal core/shell CISeS/ZnS QDs are used for PEC hydrogen generation. Fully green PEC system is achieved by core/shell CISeS/ZnS QDs. Unprecedented photocurrent density (~5.3 mA/cm2) is obtained. Core/shell CISeS/ZnS QDs-based PEC device shows high stability.
