Chemoresistant ovarian cancer cells manifest an altered redox balance. Chemoresistant ovarian cancer cells manifest point mutations in key redox enzymes. Altered redox balance in chemoresistance is caused by mutations in redox enzymes. Point mutations in redox enzymes may be a potential mechanism of chemoresistance. Antioxidant supplementation with chemotherapeutics sensitizes ovarian cancer cells.
