The first report on stable isotopic signatures of the zooplankton community in the western tropical North Pacific. Regional variations in the zooplankton stable isotopes were found across all size classes. Zooplankton isotopes were influenced by physical processes, atmospheric nitrogen fixation and ecohydrographic factors.
