Twenty-four cases of female urogenital tract melanoma were tested for mutations in KIT, NRAS and BRAF.

Four NRAS mutations were found and one KIT mutation.

The melanomas in our series relatively frequent harbor a NRAS mutation. NRAS could be an interesting therapeutic target.
