A DES model for hoisting workers with sky-lobby lift system was developed. Configuration parameters include sky lobby floor and shuttle lift number. Performance parameters include total lifting time and average traveling time. The model can examine the configuration–performance parameters relationship. Simulation experiments are conducted using a high-rise building construction case.
