“Offline” gains in performance evolve more slowly in ADHD. In typical adults “offline” gains are blocked by subsequent conflicting experience. Persons with ADHD were less susceptible to interference by conflicting experience. Motor practice is followed by atypical skill memory consolidation processes in ADHD.
