N,N,N-trimethyl chitosan (TMC) is a chitosan-derivative with high solubility. TMC is completely biodegradable, biocompatible and high bioadhesive than chitosan. Chemically-modified and grafted TMC provides improved characteristics. TMC can be used as a nanocarrier for pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
