•: Polycrystalline samples of La_0.7−xEu_xBa_0.3MnO₃ are prepared using the Pechini sol gel method.
•: XRD patterns indicate that the studied samples are well crystallized.
•: AC-conductivity analysis reveals new phenomenon which could be related to the grain size disorder.
•: In dc-conductivity curves, two transition are observed for x = 0.05 and x = 0.10. The second one disappears for x = 0.15.
•: Europium content reduces the conductivity of the material but doesn't affect the metal-insulator transition temperature.
