Deep eutectic solvent (DES) used as medium for giant magnetoresistance. Silver chloride highly stable in DES medium when compared to aqueous medium. Co-Ag multilayer film shows corn like morphology. Co-Ag multilayer film exhibits highest GMR value of 9.94%.
