A new nanophosphor of CaNa2(SO4)2 doped with Dy for TL studies is reported. Chemical Co-precipitation method has been used for the synthesis of nanophosphor. XRD, HRTEM, UV–Visible, FTIR and TGA-DSC Properties of nanophosphor have been studied. TL intensity showed linear dose response from 10 Gy to 10 kGy. Such a phosphor can be utilized for medical, accidental and reactor dosimetry.
