A new instrument to measure work constraint in nursing staff is valid on psychometrics’s perspective. Time pressure and personal protection equipment are the sources of work constraint. Work accident and the almost accident can be a work constraint’s gold standard for criterion validity. A more qualify interpretation of construct’s levels came from the crossover of item response theory and cutoff points.
