Ag nanoparticles were synthesized using Saponaria officinalis root extract. The efficacy of Saponaria officinalis extract and Ag nanoparticles was studied on Tetranychus urticae. Ag nanoparticles showed high toxicity if compared to the root extract alone. High inhibition of oviposition aktivity was also reported. Saponaria officinalis nano-acaricides can be considered a reliable option for crop protection.
