Phenomenological characterization of sequential dual-curing of off-stoichiometric “thiol-epoxy” systems: Towards applicability
详细信息    查看全文
文摘
Multifunctional materials are developed with a sequential dual-curing system based on off-stoichiometric “thiol-epoxy” mixtures. Choosing the “thiol-epoxy” ratio, it is possible to develop solid-like and conformable intermediate materials for challenging processing scenarios. Uncommon- and complex-shaped final materials, such as, plaited- or spring- shaped materials, can be obtained. The material’s properties can be easily tailored by changing the “thiol-epoxy” ratio to optimise their performance and applicability. These materials can be used in a wide range of shape-memory applications or in the development of complex mechanical actuators.
