A facile approach to fabricate low-cost perovskite solar cell is introduced.

Controllable morphology and properties of TiO2 electron-transport layer.

Commercial P25 nanoparticles and bilayer hybrid carbon electrode is applied.

Enhanced performance is observed.

Excellent long-term stability together with reduced hysteresis is obtained.
