Multi-chambered porous carbon nanocubes with a high surface area are prepared.

Multi-chambered CNC offers sufficient void for S and volume expansion restriction.

PEDOT providing chemical bondings to polysulfides is coated on CNC-S composites.

P@CNC-S composites show high capacities and superior cycling stabilities.

The unique architecture of P@CNC-S is well-preserved after cycled for 1000 times.
