We designed and manufactured a new immobilization media for Quorum Quenching (QQ). We used Rhodococcus sp. BH4 as a QQ bacteria for biofouling inhibition. We operated MBRs to see QQ effect of our innovative media named RMCF. RMCF can prevent biofilm formation on the surfaces of membranes. We monitored TMP profiles during MBR operations to establish the energy savings.
