文摘
Hydrologic connections span numerous spatial dimensions and spatiotemporal scales creating a mosaic of nested processes These nested processes influence organic carbon and inorganic nutrient transport through watersheds and fluvial networks Human activity has altered hydrologic connectivity and nutrient dynamics along each of the spatial dimensions of connectivity Collaboration and integration are necessary to unravel relationships between connectivity and biogeochemical dynamics
