We are still convinced that, beside interesting botanical results, this manuscript opens serious questions on the climate dynamics in Southern Italy at the Lateglacial-Holocene transition and is of interest. It will be a starting point for the exploration of other proxidata at Trifoglietti to deepen our understanding on this key period.
