Carotid artery wall was less distensible in presymptomatic and early Huntington disease subjects. Non obstructive plaques number in Huntington disease subjects and controls was comparable. No obstructive plaques were found in patients and controls. Intima media thickness was significantly increased in mid-stage Huntington disease subjects.
