Catalytic CH bond activation/functionalization is a matter of great interest. Chemistry of (P,N)-chelates is determined by the presence of different donor atoms. Hemilability arises as an important feature of the chemistry of (P,N)-ligands. Examples of CH bond activation at (P,N)-chelate transition metal complexes are rare. Stoichiometric CH activation studies help in the development of catalytic systems.
