The severity of nocturnal hypokinesia can be quantified by wearable sensors. PD patients had significantly fewer and smaller turns in bed than their spouses. PD patients spent significantly more time in a supine position than their spouses. Nocturnal hypokinesia is most severe in the latter half of the night. Continuous dopaminergic delivery is a recommended therapeutic approach.
