•: We present a laser-tuned WGM microresonator integrated with EO-doped PVA coating.
•: The WGM resonance wavelength is sensitive to applied 532 nm laser power density.
•: An optimal EO weight percentage is acquired for fully linear wavelength tuning.
•: The microresonator shows good spectral reversibility under 532 nm laser excitation.
•: The microresonator exhibits good dynamic performance for slow signal modulation.
