SnO2/Cu/CNT electrode is prepared with tin dioxide and copper coated on CNT.

The SnO2-based negative offers a large capacity but difficult to access if <0.15 V.

Influences of three mass ratios are studied with a fixed activated carbon loading.

The optimal activated carbon:SnO2/Cu/CNT mass ratio is 1:0.67.

Influences of potential at 0% state of charge in capacitor are discussed.
