HPLC-DAD method to quantify olive oil polyphenols developed and validated. HPLC analytical column Synergi Polar (250 × 4.6 mm, 4 μm) gave the best results. Method applied to high price and low price extra virgin olive oils. Comparison with Folin-Ciocalteu and International Olive Council HPLC methods shown.
