Spatiotemporal variation of conservation practice effectiveness was substantial. Conservation practices were less effective in reducing soluble nutrients. Conservation practice effectiveness was controlled by hydrologic variations. Conservation practice effectiveness was correlated to slopes of fields. Conservation practice effectiveness was not proportional to soluble nutrient loads.
