A carbon abatement cost estimate model of Chinese coal-fired power generation units is proposed.

The abatement costs of four units with or without CCS are estimated in different scenarios.

The unit cost of carbon emissions abatement would decrease more than 64% after conducting CCS.

1000 MW USC unit with CCS has the largest carbon reduction potential and lowest unit abatement cost.
