A series of Pb2Cr1+xMo1−xO6 samples were synthesized under high pressure. Magnetic and electrical properties of the series samples were investigated. Valence states of Cr and Mo were determined through the analyses of XRD and XPS results. Ground state of PbMoO3 were determined through the transport study and first-principles calculations.
