Clockwise P-T path was retrieved from the Jidong pelitic granulites. SIMS U-Pb dating of metamorphic zircons suggests that the peak or near peak metamorphism took place at ca. 2.5 Ga. A subduction–collision event might occur during late Neoarchean to early Palaeoproterozoic in the eastern North China Craton.
