AMS data are presented from Koppal Granitoid (East Dharwar Craton, India). Emplacement of Koppal granitoid is syntectonic with regional D3 deformation. Mulgund Granite in West Dharwar Craton emplaced syntectonically with D1/D2. Relative timing of fabric development in rocks with similar age is deciphered. AMS can help constrain absolute age of regional superposed deformation events.
