Borneol treatment increased the expression and activity of rat hepatic CYP2B in vivo. Borneol treatment had no effect on the nuclear accumulation of CAR in rat hepatic cells in vivo. The induction mechanism of borneol on rat CYP2B is different from that of PB-like inducers.
