Influence of surfactants on the structure and properties of OMt was studied. Structure and property of OMt in oil depended on the surfactants' size and polarity. Exfoliation of OMt in oil resulted in excellent rheological properties. Temperature deeply influenced the structure and properties of OMt in oil.
