Effect of Di-Tertiary Butyl Peroxide on the performance, combustion and emission characteristics of ethanol blended cotton seed methyl ester fuelled automotive diesel engine
Effect of di-tertiary butyl peroxide on ethanol blended biodiesel is investigated.
•
Cetane enhanced ethanol up to 10% can be blended with cotton seed biodiesel.
•
Nitrogen oxides emissions are lower for cetane enhanced ethanol biodiesels.
•
Performance characteristics of cetane improved ethanol biodiesels are reasonable.
•
Cetane enhanced ethanol blended biodiesel is an promising renewable energy source.
