A porous composite gel electrolyte reinforced by PP nonwoven for SIBs is reported. Ionic conductivity of the GPE at r.t. is 4 times higher than commercial separator. The stress of the GPE arrives almost the same level with Celgard 2730 separator. The gel polymer electrolyte shows good electrolyte retention even at 110 °C. The electrochemical reversibility for Na4Mn9O8 has been confirmed by using the GPE.
