Prospective study to document changes in antibody titers to small ruminant lentivirus in pregnant goats was conducted. Three different commercial ELISA tests were used. Antibody titer to small ruminant lentivirus significantly falls in the periparturient period in all three ELISA tests. In two of ELISA tests used false negative results were observed.
