文摘
The effect of alloying element on the type of major intermetallic (IM) phase was studied. Atomic size difference is the key factor in the selection of major IM phase type. An alloy will form a major IM only if its rX/rQ falls in the allowable ASR of that IM. This behavior is also observed in other pseudo binary HEAs. Our strategy is applicable to HEAs composed of transition metals.
