SACEF had a good adsorption performance for yohimbine from alcoholic solution. The subacid condition was good for the adsorption of yohimbine onto the SACEF. The adsorption was a spontaneous, endothermic and feasible process of physisorption. The Freundlich isotherm and pseudo first-order were suitable to characterize the adsorption. Film diffusion is the rate-limiting step of the adsorption.
