Waste fish fats provided by canned tuna factory were characterized.

Bio-oil production via waste fish fats pyrolysis was investigated.

A higher liquid fraction was obtained during pyrolysis.

The obtained bio-oil has an interesting calorific value.

Further improvements are required to reduce the bio-oil acidity and viscosity.
