SRM with different RBPs at medium loading strain rates were studied. SRM presents particular rate-dependence characteristics than soil and rock. Indices of σci/σf and σcd/σf have no rate-dependence characteristics. SRM experienced spitting, shear, and conical failure with increasing of strain rate.
