Familial dilated cardiomyopathies should be considered a multidisciplinary entity. Imaging, genetic and serological techniques should be considered in the evaluation of familial dilated cardiomyopathy. Implementation all these novel methods should establish genetic and cardiovascular imaging pattern in this entity, useful for clinical.
