New isotope chemostratigraphic (C, O, Sr) data for the Bambuí Group is presented. The Bambuí Group can be subdivided in three chemostratigraphic intervals. Connection and restriction of the São Francisco Basin is monitored by isotope data. New insights for West Gondwana Ediacaran-Cambrian history. Intracratonic settings may not allow global chemostratigraphic correlations.
