Subcritical water is used as a green solvent for the synthesis of beclomethasone dipropionate (BDP) nanoparticles. Sub-50 nm BDP nanoparticles are synthesized via an easy-handle solvent anti-solvent precipitation approach. The obtained BDP nanoparticles exhibit much higher dissolution rate than the raw BDP drug.
