Guar gum/Ag-Cu nanocomposites were prepared via solvent casting method. Nanocomposite films showed excellent thermo-mechanical and O2 barrier properties. Nanocomposite films exhibited strong antimicrobial activity. Developed film could be used as an active food packaging material.
