Corrosion, antibacterial activity and haemocompatibility of TiO2 nanotubes as a function of their annealing temperature

文摘

TiO2 nanotubes were grown via anodization, and were subsequently annealed.

Annealing at temperature 550 °C results in the growth of a thermal rutile oxide layer.

Corrosion resistance was significantly improved with higher annealing T.

Higher temperature annealing inhibits the growth of S. aureus and P. aeruginosa.

Non-haemolytic behavior was observed for higher temperature annealed nanotubes.
