A new polymer containing aldehyde and ferrocene groups can be easily obtained from linear poly (vinylbenzyl chloride). Antibodies can be directly immobilized on the surface of designed film. The fabrication of a label-free electrochemical immunosensor based on the new polymer film is convenient. The proposed electrochemical immunosensor had a good specificity, stability and repeatability.
