Does the combination of different NIBS techniques influence brain activity? tPCS increases power in alpha bandwidth by influencing bottom-up connectivity. tDCS has an impact on beta activity through top-down pathways. Combining tDCS and tPCS, applied simultaneously, decreases cortical excitability.
