文摘
A kind of novel ZnSnO3 hollow polyhedrons with open nanoholes was synthesized via facile hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (EDX), scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analyses. A possible formation mechanism of such microstructure was speculated. Moreover, the sensor based on these ZnSnO3 hollow polyhedrons exhibited good gas sensing performance at 240 °C to 50 ppm acetone, and the response and recovery times were about 17 and 10 s, respectively. The significant decrease in optimal operating temperature and the ability of detecting low-concentration acetone gas were attributed to the unique structure of the products which possessed hollow interior and good-permeation surface.
