Local multigranulation decision-theoretic rough sets (LMG-DTRS) are proposed. The LMG-DTRS model can handle big data with a limited number of labels. The corresponding concept approximation algorithm has linear time complexity. The study provides a bridge between MG-DTRS and local rough sets.
