The performance of BIPV/T systems under frame shadows has been evaluated. Frame shadows reduce the efficiency of BIPV/T systems from 13% to 2.6% in the worst case. The maximum and minimum annual electrical losses are 70.15 kWh/m2 and 40.23 kWh/m2, respectively, at different azimuth angles. There is a trade-off between photovoltaic and thermal performances.
