•: Two linear deep-blue emitters, BiPI-1 and BiPI-2, were design and synthesized.
•: Molecular twisting help in retaining deep-blue emission and high ϕ_PLs in solid.
•: Carrier mobilities of BiPI-1 were μ_h > 10⁻³ cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹ and μ_e > 10⁻⁵ cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹.
•: Emitter BiPI-1 achieves EQE up to 6.18% (CIE:(0.15, 0.08)) in a non-doped OLED.
